Fractional Chief Financial Officer

Jeenka and Sensory Design are two dynamic digital companies currently undergoing a strategic relaunch following an internal reorganization. We are seeking an experienced CFO Consultant to support us in establishing solid financial foundations and defining a medium-term economic strategy. This role requires a commitment of 10–15 hours per week, with flexible but consistent hours. Initially, the primary focus will be on cash flow management and operational financial control. The CFO Consultant will work closely with the CEO and key stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in guiding the company through growth phases, fundraising efforts, cash flow optimization, and the development of a robust management control system. The ideal candidate has prior experience in CFO, Finance Director, or Advisor roles within complex corporate environments, startups, or dynamic SMEs, and brings a hands-on, results-oriented approach. Responsibilities Develop and oversee the company’s medium- to long-term financial strategy Define, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans Optimize cash flow and financial resource management Build and enhance management control systems and KPIs Support fundraising activities including equity, debt, and grants is highly valued Coordinate preparation of business plans and investor reporting Collaborate with internal teams and external accountants to ensure compliance Manage and support internal accounting/administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely reporting Requirements Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields is valued Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Finance Advisor Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, reporting tools, and ERP software Familiarity with fundraising processes and due diligence Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience in tech startups or scale-ups is valued Fluent English language skills Knowledge of M&A, grants, public funding (local and European), or financial crisis management are valued Benefits Flexible collaboration tailored to your availability Opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company’s strategic growth Dynamic, stimulating, and growing work environment Competitive compensation, including success fees based on specific goals If you’re ready to contribute your expertise to a transformative project and grow alongside us, we’d love to hear from you!
