Fractional Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) / AML Compliance Officer – Crypto OTC Stablecoin Platform - Contract to Hire

We are seeking an experienced AML Compliance Officer or fractional Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to support an early-stage crypto OTC stablecoin trading platform.

The platform facilitates OTC transactions involving stablecoins and fiat settlement with verified counterparties. We are looking for a compliance professional who can act as our designated Compliance Officer or fractional CCO, help maintain our AML program, and perform periodic onboarding and monitoring reviews.

Because we are an early-stage startup, the expected workload will initially be very light (approximately 1–2 hours per week). The role will primarily focus on KYB/KYC onboarding approvals and periodic compliance oversight.

Our AML policy and procedures have recently undergone a third-party compliance review and updates, providing a strong foundation for the program as we begin onboarding counterparties.

We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term relationship with a growing platform, where responsibilities and compensation can expand as the business scales.

Responsibilities:

•Serve as the platform’s Compliance Officer or fractional Chief Compliance Officer

• Review and approve KYB/KYC onboarding documentation for institutional and business counterparties

• Provide oversight of the company’s AML/KYC compliance program

• Review flagged transactions or activity if needed and file SARS when required

• Provide guidance on U.S. AML compliance requirements related to crypto OTC trading

• Assist with maintaining compliance documentation and procedures

• Be available periodically for questions related to compliance matters

• Ability to serve as the designated AML Compliance Officer within the company’s AML policy, if mutually agreed

Scope of Work:

• KYB/KYC onboarding reviews and approvals

• Occasional transaction monitoring reviews

• Compliance guidance as the platform grows

• Estimated workload: 1–2 hours per week initially

Compensation:

• Paid on an hourly basis

• Estimated workload: 1–2 hours per week initially

• Engagement expected to grow as transaction volume increases

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Chief Compliance Officer, AML Officer, or Compliance Consultant

• Experience with crypto, digital assets, or OTC trading desks

• Familiarity with U.S. AML regulations and the Bank Secrecy Act

• Experience with KYC/KYB onboarding processes

• Ability to serve as a named compliance officer for the company

Nice to Have:

• CAMS certification or similar AML credentials

• Experience working with fintech or crypto startups

• Experience with common KYC/AML and blockchain analytics tools (helpful but not required)

Engagement:

• Fractional / part-time engagement

• Light workload initially

• Long-term relationship preferred as the platform grows
