Fractional CFO Needed – Early-Stage Biotech Fundraising Support
K-38 Consulting is seeking a fractional CFO to support one of our early-stage biotech clients as they prepare for a $1.2M fundraise. We’re looking for a strategic financial partner with deep experience in early biotech ventures and a track record of supporting successful fundraising efforts. Scope of Work: Review and refine the client's financial model Develop clear burn rate and runway tables tailored for investors Advise on the financial positioning within the pitch deck Support overall fundraising strategy and investor readiness Assist with outreach to potential investors, including angels and corporate VCs Who You Are: An experienced fractional CFO or financial consultant in biotech or life sciences Skilled in early-stage fundraising (pre-seed, seed, Series A) Strong in financial modeling and investor communications Ideally connected to a network of biotech-focused investors Comfortable working on both advisory and executional levels Compensation: Depends on experience and success rate.
