We are seeking an experience Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in the construction industry to provide part‑time strategic financial leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in job costing, cash flow management, project profitability, and financial forecasting to help guide our company’s growth and improve financial performance. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional who can deliver executive‑level insight and leadership on a flexible or contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals and growth plans.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, including bidding, contracting, and project management.
• Advise ownership and executive team on risk management, capital allocation, and long‑term planning.
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling for multiple projects.
• Evaluate project profitability, coast structure, and return on investment.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial performance reports.
Operational Finance Oversight
• Improve internal controls, accounting systems, and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and timely billing.
• Oversee WIP (Work in Progress) reporting, change order tracking, and revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP.
