They are seeking a Founding Business Development Representative to lead their U.S. expansion by architecting the outbound engine for their sales organization and securing meetings with complex financial institutions.ResponsibilitiesExecute High-Volume Outbound: Own the top-of-funnel execution via personalized email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to build a consistent pipelineStrategic Account Mapping: Research and map key stakeholders within complex organizations like Tier 1 banks and pension funds to identify ideal entry pointsQualify Leads: Conduct initial discovery to ensure prospects have the pain points and budget that align with Heka’s AI capabilitiesCraft Messaging: Partner with Marketing and the Founding AE to iterate on outbound sequences and persona-driven value propositionsBuild the Prospecting Playbook: Document successful outreach tactics, objection handlers, and market insights to help scale the BDR functionOptimize CRM: Maintain a clean and organized CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) to ensure seamless hand-offs to the AE teamSkillsAuthorized to work in the U.S1–3 years of experience in B2B tech sales or lead generation (bonus for experience in fintech or fraud prevention)Native-level English with exceptional writing skills and the ability to articulate complex technical values simplyYou have a 'builder' mentality and the persistence required to break into large, traditional financial institutionsFamiliarity with modern sales stacks (e.g., SalesNav, Lemlist, HubSpot, Monday CRM)Benefits100% covered medical, dental, and vision insurance.Weekly happy hours and quarterly company events401(k) with employer matching14 days + paid U.S. public holidays + unlimited paid sick daysOn-site 4 days a week, 1 day work-from-homeCompany OverviewHeka delivers real-time web intelligence to financial services.
