Founding Board of Directors Music and Ministry Initiative Voice Up FOUNDING LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY 12-month founding commitment 15-20 hours/week The Divine Mission "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit" (Colossians 3:16). Voice Up's Music and Ministry Initiative is founded on the belief that God is love, and we excel when we share God's love with others. We create musical experiences that open hearts to divine connection, foster authentic community among disciples of Jesus Christ, and empower individuals to discover their calling to serve God through music. Research shows sacred music increases spiritual resilience by 52% and strengthens divine purpose (Peterson et al., 2024). Communities with musical ministry demonstrate higher volunteerism and compassion, reflecting Yeshua's love in action (Anderson & Williams, 2023). Three Founding Tracks Compensation based on available funding Ministry Credit Track - Seminary/university credit Service Track - Pure ministry calling and spiritual development Leadership Stipend Track - Up to $1,200/month based on funding Core Responsibilities Worship Ministry Development: Create transformative worship experiences combining traditional and contemporary elements Community Outreach: Use music to share God's love with unchurched and marginalized communities Discipleship Formation: Develop musical programs that integrate spiritual growth with creative expression Regional Focus 8 founding members across 4 regions: North America, Latin America, Africa & Middle East, Europe & Asia-Pacific - each addressing unique spiritual and cultural contexts. Training & Development 6-week intensive program covering theological foundation, worship leadership, community outreach, discipleship mentorship, cross-cultural ministry, and organizational development. Ongoing monthly retreats, quarterly conferences, and annual missions exposure. Qualifications Essential: Personal relationship with Jesus Christ/Yeshua as Savior, biblical commitment, musical ability, ministry calling, demonstrated discipleship character, cultural sensitivity, background check clearance. Preferred: Theology/ministry/music background, church leadership experience, cross-cultural understanding, additional languages, community outreach experience.
