Forklift Driver

Company Overview Forklift Driver are essential to Frito-Lay’s warehouse operations. In this entry-level role, you will operate forklifts to move merchandise, load and unload trucks, and help manage inventory flow. While this position begins as a Forklift Driver, it offers a strong pathway for career progression within Frito-Lay or the broader PepsiCo organization. Role and Responsibilities • Safely operate a forklift after completing in-house training and receiving certification • Load and unload product pallets from trailers efficiently • Organize and store goods in high-level warehouse racking systems • Utilize handheld scanning devices and warehouse management systems for inventory tracking • Accurately select product cases based on order requirements using provided technology • Assist with facility cleanliness through tasks like sweeping, trash collection, and trailer sanitation Work Environment and Schedule • This facility runs around the clock, so candidates must be open to working nights, weekends, and holidays • This is a physically demanding position requiring prolonged standing and movement in various conditions • May involve working at elevated heights and in areas with high temperatures, noise levels, or humidity Required Skills and Experience • Must be at least 18 years old • Able to lift 15 to 50 pounds, with or without accommodations • Comfortable with physical activities like standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and kneeling for long durations • Capable of performing repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying tasks • Willingness to work in challenging environments, including slippery surfaces and extreme temperature or noise fluctuations Compensation and Benefits • Competitive hourly pay for part-time roles • Paid training—prior forklift experience not required • Opportunities for long-term growth within Frito-Lay or PepsiCo About Frito-Lay Frito-Lay, a key division of PepsiCo, is a globally recognized name in snack foods.
