Food Merchandiser

Role and Responsibilities
• Distribute and merchandise Frito-Lay snacks across a variety of retail outlets, such as grocery stores, dollar stores, and gas stations
• Drive a company route truck to assigned locations and unload deliveries with speed and accuracy
• Build positive partnerships with store managers to enhance sales opportunities and improve product visibility
• Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and maintain high merchandising standards to ensure product freshness
• Utilize handheld devices to complete order entry, track inventory, and document daily delivery activities
• Participate in a 4–6 week in-depth training program covering driving, sales, and merchandising practices
• Adapt to various routes and store formats to assist team coverage and meet company objectives
Required Skills and Experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with current insurance; must meet state licensing requirements as applicable
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds multiple times throughout a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills; able to work independently
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in route sales, merchandising, or customer-facing roles
• Proven ability to influence store-level sales and maintain customer relationships
