Food Expeditor / Runner

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of food service operations. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in coordinating food orders between the kitchen and the serving staff. Duties: - Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff - Ensure timely delivery of food to customers - Communicate any special requests or modifications to the kitchen staff - Monitor food quality and presentation before it is served - Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area - Collaborate with servers, chefs, and other team members to ensure smooth operations - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly Requirements: - Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred - Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.
