Position: Floorhand 2, Snyder, TX
This position is one of a crew of a well service rig responsible for performing services on oil and gas wells. Duties include assisting in rigging up and rigging down, pulling/laying down rods, tubing, casing and other functions specified by customer or well operator.
This position takes day to day, tactical operation from:
Rig Operator.
Responsibilities:
Ā Lifts, operates, rigs up/down guy wires, hydraulic jacks, pads/boards and emergency gear which may include SCBA boxes, fire extinguishers and H2S monitors.
Ā Lifts, removes, installs and operates well head pump, jacks and performs other tasks as designated by the rig operator or company official.
Ā Drives Key vehicles as necessary, including crew truck and tool truck.
Ā Positions, lifts, attaches, installs and works with matting boards, tubing, rods, casing and associated well equipment, such as rod strippers, polish rods, etc.
Ā Operates rod wrenches, tongs, elevators and other associated rig tools and equipment.
Ā Reports safety hazards, accidents or maintenance issues to the rig supervisor.
Ā May work in shop or yard as required.
Ā May become trained to operate Key Energy Services special equipment (e.g., Hydra Walk).
Ā Works on elevated platform handling rods, tubing and other equipment related with well servicing.
Ā May work in the BBS (Behavior Based Safety) observation process as an observer, facilitator and/or trainer.
Ā Completes required work plans, job safety analysis, observations, and attends safety meetings as required.
Ā Performs other duties as assigned.
Ā Wears proper safety equipment on the job (when applicable).

Ā Work in fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks at the same time.
Ā Interact positively with others on the team.
Ā Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ā Must possess valid driver's license and meet all qualifications defined in Motor Vehicle Policy to drive Key Energy vehicles if required.
Ā Minimum 6 months oilfield servicing experience required, 1 year preferred.
Ā 1 or 2 years of floor hand experience preferred.
Ā Command of English language, verbal and written, preferred.
Ā Must pass drug and physical test if required by state and federal government.
Education Requirements:
Ā High School Diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred.
