Floater Position-Admin/Dental Assistant Role

Our team is passionate about oral health, patient education, and providing a seamless experience from the front desk to the operatory. We're looking for a versatile and friendly team member who thrives in both clinical and administrative settings. Position Overview: This unique role is ideal for someone who enjoys assisting in clinical procedures and also has the customer service skills to manage front desk operations. Your schedule will be Mon-Friday with designated clinical assisting days. You'll play a vital part in creating a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out and everything in between. This candidate should ideally possess a valid NJ State X-Ray License. Responsibilities • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. • Take and develop dental x-rays. • Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness. • Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout the procedure. • Maintain accurate patient records. • Greet and check-in patients with professionalism/warmth. • Schedule appointments and manage calendar efficiently. • Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing concerns as needed. • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. • Collect payments and manage patient accounts.
