What You'll Do: As a Flight Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Performing skilled work in operations, such as inspecting, dismantling, checking, and cleaning, repairing, replacing, testing, modifying, assembling, installing, adjusting, manufacturing, maneuvering, or towing aircraft, and/or run-up engines, deicing aircraft, to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all their parts while in service or while undergoing a modification. Verifying the quality of your workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases, with the exception of signing mechanical flight releases for all work done on hands-on work. Purchasing your own parts in locations where stock chasers are not maintained or available. Working with other Aviation Maintenance Specialist personnel assigned to assist in completing a task. Working according to FAA and Company regulations and procedures and directions from a Team Lead or supervisor. Completing forms associated with work operations in accordance with established procedures. Communicating with other Company personnel as required in a manner designated by the Company. All You'll Require for Success: Minimum Qualifications: Education and Previous Work Experience High School diploma or GED Valid driver's license Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language or language native to geographical location. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions in accordance with Company Safety Procedures. Ability to work additional hours when there are operational requirements, such as weather delays. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
