FLEX Senior Business Analyst Digital Asset Center

The Digital Asset Center (DAC) Business Analyst is responsible for managing and overseeing the development of a heavily customized instance of Adobe Digital Asset Manager (DAM) at Marriott. This role involves working closely with DAC business leaders and downstream channels to gather and prioritize requirements, manage team capacity, and ensure delivery across various tracks for the team. The BA will serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing technical guidance and strategic recommendations to enhance the product. The BA will also work with business partners to ensure requirements are fully understood and documented.

Education and Experience

Required:
• 6+ years’ experience in information technology application design or development
• 3+ years’ experience in business systems analysis or project management on software development projects
• 6+ years’ experience with converting business needs into technology requirements and working within Technology to manage the execution of projects
• 4-year degree from an accredited university, preferably in a technology and business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Agile Development methodology and tools (CSPO or CSM certification a plus)
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience facilitating requirements analysis and functional design working sessions with both onshore and offshore partners is preferred
• Experience identifying and analyzing alternative solutions to complex business requirements and providing guidance and advice
• Experience with business process re-engineering
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to get into the technical weeds to come to a solution

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering:
• Collaborate with DAC stakeholders to understand, document, and prioritize requirements.
• Ensure dependencies and risks are well-documented.

Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with leadership to facilitate workshops and meetings, including creating business presentations, communications, and documentation
• Align on project goals, progress, and upcoming deliverables.

Team Management:
• Lead a multi-workstream team, coordinating efforts across DAC Dev, DAC API, QA Automation, and operations.
• Ensure seamless execution of tasks.

Technical Guidance:
• Provide expert advice on Adobe DAM functionalities, customizations, and integrations.
• Ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
• Experience facilitating requirements analysis and functional design working sessions with both onshore and offshore partners is preferred
• Experience identifying and analyzing alternative solutions to complex business requirements and providing guidance and advice
• Lead functional design including demonstrations to stakeholders to validate approach
• Identifies creative solutions to business requirements, analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of alternatives, and provides recommendations
• Works with external vendors and analogous companies to obtain additional insights, approaches, and demonstrations of solutions

Strategic Guidance:
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance DAC performance and capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Project Oversight:
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Maintain high standards of quality and manage project risks effectively.
• Ability to independently drive tasks with minimal direction, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results. Highly organized and detail-oriented, maintaining accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
• Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output in a team environment.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in managing Adobe Digital Asset Manager or similar digital asset management systems is preferred.
• Strong background in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multi-workstream teams.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving product improvements.
• Excellent communication both oral and written
• and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in project management and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud products.
• Certification in Adobe Digital Asset Manager or related fields.

The pay range for this position is $52.06 to $86.11 per hour.
