Fitness & Nutrition Coach (Independent Contractor, Remote)
About Us Jacob Zemer LLC is a premier remote accountability coaching program based in Westchester, NY with a growing nationwide virtual client base. Our mission is to help hundreds of people reach their fitness goals, get healthy, and live more fulfilling lives through a blend of structured accountability, cutting-edge nutrition strategies, and sustainable fitness programming. We are seeking a motivated Fitness & Nutrition Coach to join our elite coaching team as a 1099 independent contractor for 20–30 hours per week. This dual-role opportunity combines accountability coaching with program management, giving you the chance to directly impact client success while contributing to the evolution of our coaching systems. Responsibilities Client Accountability Coaching • Serve as account manager for assigned clients through our online coaching platform. • Conduct scheduled daily check-ins via text to keep clients on track toward their health, fitness, and lifestyle goals. • Provide encouragement, troubleshooting, and accountability tailored to each client’s unique needs. Client Engagement & Reporting • Monitor client activity and progress, delivering weekly and monthly reports on engagement, responsiveness, and results. • Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and proactively address challenges. Program Oversight • Act as a key point of contact for program management, ensuring clients are matched with the best-fit coaching plans. • Oversee and refine client management systems and tools to optimize service delivery. • Collaborate with the coaching team to create and implement strategies that enhance client experience. • Education & Facilitation • Support client success by discussing topics such as nutrition, meal choices, fitness programming, sleep, and work/life balance. • Represent the Jacob Zemer brand, staying current with our unique coaching approach, and contribute ideas to improve the program. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Nutrition, or a related field preferred. • Current NCCA-accredited Personal Training Certification strongly preferred. • Current Nutrition Certification (Precision Nutrition preferred.) • Knowledge of nutrition fundamentals and fitness programming (strength, cardio, flexibility). • Strong communication skills—able to motivate, educate, and build rapport through virtual platforms. • Tech-savvy with competence in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with social media/online platforms. • Prior client-facing experience is highly desirable. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable—able to manage multiple clients and tasks with consistency.
