Job Title: FIRREA Compliant CRE Evaluations Analyst Locations: Nationwide (Remote) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Evaluations Analyst to support our valuation and advisory platform by preparing independent, FIRREA-compliant evaluations of commercial real estate collateral. The ideal candidate understands regulatory requirements, property-level risk analysis, and market fundamentals across multiple property types. Key Responsibilities: Prepare FIRREA-compliant commercial real estate evaluations for lending, credit, and portfolio management purposes. Analyze income-producing and owner-occupied commercial properties including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, and special-purpose assets. Perform market research and analysis, including rent comps, sales comps, cap rates, absorption trends, and market conditions. Apply appropriate valuation methodologies (income, sales comparison, cost approaches) consistent with regulatory guidance. Maintain adherence to Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines , internal policies, and quality control standards. Clearly document assumptions, conclusions, and risk considerations in written reports. Meet established turnaround times while maintaining high-quality analytical standards. Required Qualifications: 1-3+ years of experience in commercial real estate performing appraiser or non-appraiser evaluations Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation analysis. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to concisely explain valuation concepts. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with CRE data sources (e.g., CoStar,) preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. Prior experience within a financial institution, appraisal management company, or valuation advisory firm. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s experience, skills, education, location, production and other job-related variables.
