We are currently looking for a motivated AutoCAD Drafter, specializing in Fire and Security Systems Design, with a growth mindset and strong communication skills. The position is fulltime and is based in the Denver Metro area. We offer each employee health and dental, paid time off, and paid holidays, among other benefits. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
AutoCAD: create drawing sets for project submittals, permitting, field installation, coordination, redlines, and as-builts. Also, update and maintain database of wiring and mounting blocks and diagrams, among other standard details.
Assist Project Engineer with product and system selection, documentation, RFIs, Change Orders, status updates, and permitting.
Assist Procurement and Department Managers with product verification and allocation for projects, and coordination with field operations.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Drivers License, clean MVR & Background
Reliable Transportation
Ability to work independently in AutoCAD (version 2020+) required
2+ years professional drafting experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, required
Must have professional drafting and design experience for security and fire systems. Additional experience with drafting and designing structured cabling, a/v, public address, special hazards, and electrical systems preferred.
