Financial Systems Analyst – IES (Intuit Enterprise Suite) + Fishbowl Workflow Optimization - Contract to Hire
About us We are a fast-growing beverage / CPG manufacturer (tea, sweetener, concentrates, popping boba) with small company and lean internal resources. We recently implemented Intuit Enterprise Suite (QuickBooks Enterprise) and Fishbowl for inventory / manufacturing and now need to optimize workflows, reporting, and integrations for scale. What we’re looking for A hands-on Financial Systems / Business Systems Analyst who has worked with both: Intuit Enterprise Suite / QuickBooks Enterprise (multi-entity, inventory-heavy environments) Fishbowl (Manufacturing / Inventory) including configuration, accounting integration, and reporting The ideal consultant combines strong accounting/finance understanding with practical experience designing and implementing operational workflows in these tools. Scope of work You will: Review and assess current setup Evaluate existing IES chart of accounts, classes, locations, and items for a manufacturing / CPG environment. Review current Fishbowl configuration (parts, BOMs, work orders, locations, costing settings, accounting mappings). Design improved workflows Define end-to-end workflows for: purchasing, receiving, production, inventory adjustments, sales / invoicing, and rebates/discounts. Ensure correct posting from Fishbowl into IES for COGS, inventory valuation, WIP, and variances. Recommend process changes and controls so operations and accounting stay in sync. Reporting and analytics Design and implement reports / dashboards for: margin by product and channel, inventory turns, production variances, and labor/material efficiency. Help us standardize data structures (items, UOMs, locations, classes) to support clean reporting. Documentation and knowledge transfer Document workflows, key configurations, and “how to” steps for internal team. Provide light training / working sessions with operations + finance leads. Deliverables Diagnostic summary of current IES + Fishbowl setup, key issues, and gaps Recommended target workflows and configuration changes Implemented changes (or clear instructions if we execute) in IES and Fishbowl Core report set (or report specs) for operations and finance Simple SOPs / process documentation for ongoing use Required experience Direct, hands-on work with Intuit Enterprise Suite / QuickBooks Enterprise in inventory / manufacturing businesses. Direct, hands-on work with Fishbowl (Manufacturing or Inventory) including accounting integration to QuickBooks. Experience mapping and optimizing workflows between operations (MRP / inventory) and accounting. Strong understanding of manufacturing COGS, inventory valuation, and multi-entity or consolidation environments. Nice to have Experience with small to mid-sized CPG / food or beverage manufacturers. Experience supporting companies preparing for institutional investment (Series A-style readiness). Familiarity with CRMs such as HubSpot and their basic linkage to revenue and product data.
