Financial Reporting Analyst I

They are seeking a Financial and Reporting Analyst I to support financial operations through administrative and analytical activities, including developing and analyzing reports for program management and corporate reviews. Responsibilities Assist team with various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis Review, classify, examine and analyze data and records of financial transactions Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate financial reports as required Maintain appropriate records and documentation Perform financial analyses and generate reports and recommendations for management review Study trends and reports on depreciation, working capital, investments, rates of return, and financial and expense comparisons based on profit and loss statements and income statements Identify and resolve routine problems as well as to prevent future problems May respond to rate and budget questions and provide explanations to ensure management understanding Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DFAR, FAR, and other government regulations May participate in team efforts to improve functioning of the department Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Load forecast data into HFM/OneStream Assist with creating and maintaining the 5-year FOP Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to understand financial analysis principles and have financial analysis skills Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite) Willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed Benefits Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Employer matching 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off including vacation, holidays, and sick leave (including ant state-mandated paid sick leave) Parental leave benefits Tuition reimbursement Professional development support Life and disability insurance coverage A company contribution to a health savings account Telemedicine Legal insurance Competitive vacation Health/emergency leave Paid parental leave Community service hours Company Overview Leonardo DRS is a manufacturer and designs advanced sensing, network computing, force protection, and high-performance defense technology.
