Financial Reporting Advisor

To compile, analyze and prepare financial and statistical information in support of accounting and financial analysis of FedEx companies. Essential Functions • Compile, analyze and prepare financial and statistical information • Prepare consolidated reporting and/or reporting in compliance with SEC rules and regulations. • Provide interpretation and support to users of financial statements. • Support the design and enhancement of financial reporting systems. • Perform other duties as assigned. Job Specific Information: • Responsible for preparation of quarterly Form 10-Q, annual Form 10-K • Prepare consolidated financial statements, including the statement of cash flows • Prepare footnote disclosures, draft sections of MD&A disclosures, and XBRL information • Prepare GAAP and SEC Disclosure Checklists to ensure compliance with the U.S. GAAP and SEC Regulation • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to enable proper accounting/reporting and support the business • Perform processes and procedures to comply with SOX 404 control framework • Assist in the company's external audit • Lead/participate in special projects and initiatives and support with any ad-hoc requests from cross-functional teams Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in accounting or finance. Minimum Experience Five (5) years of experience in financial reporting and analysis in a large public accounting firm or complex accounting environment of a for-profit company, including experience using automated financial systems. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills required. Pay: $5,638.08 USD per month - $11,276.15 USD per month Additional Details: The desired location for this position would be Memphis, TN. This position may be eligible for relocation.
