Financial Project Manager
We are looking for a skilled Financial Project Manager to oversee the implementation of QuickBooks Online for a new entity. This contract position, based in Nashville, Tennessee, will focus on setting up financial systems for a debt vehicle related to music catalog management. The role is expected to last approximately 2-3 months and requires expertise in financial system implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the setup of a QuickBooks Online instance for a new entity, ensuring compliance with operational and financial requirements.
• Configure the system, including creating a chart of accounts and establishing the general ledger.
• Customize an existing QuickBooks platform to align with the specific needs of the entity.
• Ensure financial operations are distinct and independent, adhering to arm's-length principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address any setup challenges and provide solutions.
• Test the configured system to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Provide guidance on best practices for financial system implementation and maintenance.
• Document the setup process and configurations for future reference or audits.
• Proven experience in implementing QuickBooks Online for financial operations.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, including chart of accounts and general ledger setup.
• Demonstrated ability to manage system configurations and customizations effectively.
• Familiarity with financial operations for joint ventures or similar entities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders and provide clear documentation.
• Ability to complete tasks within a short timeframe and meet deadlines.
