Financial Paraplanner (Remote) Associate Financial Planner (Remote) (Financial Services) Our client's Independent Financial Services Firm located in the Chicago, IL area is looking to add a key employee to the Team. They are seeking a professional Financial Paraplanner (REMOTE) / Associate Financial Planner (REMOTE) who is ready to help an already thriving company. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years of successful Paraplanner experience or experience in a similar role • 2+ years of Financial Services Industry experience in a fast-paced professional environment • Financial Services Software experience (Example: TD Ameritrade, eMoney, Riskalyze Etc.) • CRM Software experience (Example: Salesforce, Redtail, Hubly, Etc.) • MS Office Products experience (Example: Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) Certification is a plus • FINRA Securities Licensing is a plus • CFP or CFP Candidate is a plus ROLE DESCRIPTION Prioritizing client needs and helping to create solutions is an important part of their culture and at the core of everything our client does. As a Financial Paraplanner / Associate Financial Planner you will: • Conduct Tutorial of Client Portal, initial Input and Data Confirmation with the advisor and client • Prepare Financial Plans, support Financial Advisor Team in the development, research and analysis of client Financial Plans • Assist Financial Advisor Team with client presentations regarding financial and tax planning options and opportunities as needed • Update Financial Planning software to reflect most current and accurate client information • Prepare the Presentation Document for the Annual Review Meetings with the Financial Advisor Team to reflect yearly updates • Ensure inquiries and concerns are addressed and resolved, achieving expected client service levels • Provide thorough, high-quality research, problem solving, and issue resolution • Seek to establish a level of trust and confidence with the client, allowing for any financial issue being discussed and solutions that are continued to be offered • Develop effective virtual working relationships with the Financial Advisor Team, company staff and vendors, ultimately providing effective, high-quality service for clients REQUIRED SKILLS • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication particularly in a virtual context • Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and manage time • High attention to detail and ability to closely follow office processes & policies • Working knowledge of financial planning concepts and procedures • Ability to adapt as situations or business demands change • Self-directed initiative and follow through • Excellent organization and data management skills • Sound understanding of the financial markets system • Excellent client-centric mindset • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, but fun virtual office environment • High level of confidence, perseverance and a desire to succeed in a goal-oriented environment • Willingness and desire to be part of a dynamic team environment and learn through a mentoring and collaborative relationship • Ability to adhere to complex regulatory, compliance and client privacy requirements COMPENSATION • $60,000 - $90,000 Annually (Base + Bonuses/Incentives) • Based Upon Experience, Licensing and/or Certifications* • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability Insurance + 401k + Discretionary Profit Sharing • Laptop & Software Provided • Flexible Work Schedule + Great Work/Life Balance • Generous PTO Policy & Paid Holidays Presented by Humans Being Resources, Inc.
