Financial Controller with Acumatica
We are looking for a Controller who will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in accounting and proficiency in Acumatica software.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage the budgeting process, providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and standards.
Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Utilize Acumatica software to streamline accounting processes and maintain financial data integrity.
Identify training needs and implement development programs.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and prepare for audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
Oversee tax planning and compliance.
Process Improvement:
Assess current accounting operations and recommend improvements.
Implement new processes and systems to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
CPA certification is a plus.
Proven experience with Acumatica financial software is required.
Experience working with multiple legal entities under different
legal umbrellas is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial software applications, particularly Acumatica.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
