Financial Analyst — Startup (Financial Modeling & Fundraise Prep
Seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to build a dynamic, investor-ready financial model that supports fundraising, operational planning, and long-term forecasting. You will partner with founders and product teams to convert strategy and market assumptions into actionable financial plans. Key responsibilities: Develop a 3-statement financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with scenario and sensitivity analysis. Project revenue, operating costs, cash flow, and profitability across business models (B2B, B2C, subscription, commission).Model unit economics (CAC, LTV), user growth, retention, and acquisition costs. Prepare break-even, ROI, and sensitivity analyses for investor discussions. Build investor-grade dashboards and summary reports for stakeholders. Validate assumptions with the team using internal data and market research. Qualifications: Proven experience in startup/tech financial modeling and fundraise preparation. Advanced Excel/bolthires Sheets skills; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Python a plus. Strong understanding of unit economics, platform/SaaS business models, and KPI frameworks.Ability to translate complex analytics into clear investor communications.
