Financial Analyst Needed for Business Valuation Firm
We are a growing U.S.-based business valuation firm seeking a highly detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our valuation team. This is a long-term remote opportunity for candidates located in Central America, South America, or Canada (must work in a similar U.S. time zone).
We specialize in business valuations for SBA lending, estate/gift tax planning, litigation support, and transactional purposes. The ideal candidate is financially savvy, comfortable with U.S. company financial statements and tax returns, and experienced in Excel-based financial modeling and report writing.
Core Responsibilities:
Review client financial documents (P&L, balance sheet, tax returns)
Identify missing information and communicate clearly with our internal team
Input and normalize financial data into valuation Excel models
Assist with financial statement adjustments
Draft portions of valuation reports in Word (training + SOPs provided)
Organize and manage engagement files
Follow detailed internal SOPs with precision
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of U.S. financial statements and business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065 preferred)
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, linking schedules, data organization)
Strong Word formatting skills
High attention to detail
Strong written English
Ability to follow structured procedures
