Finance/Accounting Manager
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead and manage our financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, managing AP/AR processes, verifying disbursements with the IRS and banking partners, and preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders including our lending banks, investors, and executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
? Verify and reconcile checks with the IRS and partner banks to ensure legitimacy and compliance.
? Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and financial records.
? Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports such as:
? Budget vs. Actuals
? Profit & Loss Statements
? Cash Flow Statements
? Investor and lender reporting packages
? Collaborate with leadership to create annual budgets and forecasts.
? Support audit processes and maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations.
? Optimize financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
? Liaise with external stakeholders including banks, IRS, and investors.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus).
? 3?5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
? Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
? Experience working with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies (IRS, etc.).
? Proficient in accounting software (Xero or similar) and Excel.
? Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
? Experience in fintech or a startup environment is a plus.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
