Finance Leader with Non-Profit Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business / Public Administration.
• Full competence level in Accounting Management and developing competence in Financial Management.
• Knowledge of reporting standards including federal and state compliance reporting.
• Expertise in nonprofit accounting a solid plus. That said, an individual with a corporate background who is willing to learn not-for-profit accounting who has a thirst for learning and passion for resolving homelessness will be considered.
• Adept with enterprise accounting software and financial reporting tools.

Budget and Financial Management
• budget development
• budget monitoring/reporting
• expense management

Accounting
• accounting operations coordination
• liaison with outside accountants and auditors
• monitoring internal controls.

• Cash management/investments
• personnel management
• Banking
• Benefits administration

Required Qualifications:
• Demonstrated organization and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel
• Experience with contract management
• Experience with budget management
• Working knowledge QuickBooks or other accounting software
