Finance Expert - Equity Research/Investment Banking
Mercor is seeking talented **Equity Research and Investment Banking professionals** to collaborate with leading AI labs to train and evaluate their frontier AI models. You will work towards training as well as evaluating these AI models with various financial workflows - these include financial statements, valuation and financial modelling. • *Why You're a Great Fit**- You are an ideal candidate if you have - - 3+ years of experience as an Equity researcher or Investment Banker. - Expertise in any of the following - - Merger and acquisition - Risk Management - Financial Modelling - Capital Markets - Portfolio Management - Technical proficiency in Excel, Spreadsheets, Financial databases such as Bloomberg terminal is highly desired - Strong attention to details as well as good communication skills. • *Role Highlights** - - Participate in a flexible and fully remote working environment. - Initial project scope of 1–2 months, with opportunities for continued collaboration. - Work commitment of approximately 10–20 hours per week, scalable based on availability and project needs. • *Application process -** - You will submit resume, give an AI interview and fill a form. - Candidates selected from the first round will be invited to complete a timed assignment. • *Compensation and Legal Details** Compensation is negotiable and will be hourly. With respect to pay and legal status: - You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor. - We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.
