Role Overview
As the Finance and Accounting Manager, you will own critical accounting processes, support FP&A activities, and collaborate across teams to improve operations as our business grows. Youll be a trusted partner to multiple stakeholders, leveraging your skills and intellectual curiosity to make meaningful contributions to Nametags success.
Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Close Cycle:
Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of general journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly analytics.
Oversee month-end accrual processes for all functional areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Accounting and Controls:
Own specific close processes and implement accounting controls to achieve a GAAP-compliant close.
Research and apply revenue accounting principles to complex transactions.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies across the organization.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders through financial analytics.
Cross-Functional Support:
Collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other areas to provide accounting and finance support.
Partner with teams to implement and maintain scalable processes, policies, and controls.
Audit and Compliance:
Support internal and external audits by preparing key information and documentation.
Maintain relationships with third-party payroll providers and public accounting firms.
Process Improvement:
Continuously improve finance and accounting processes to support scalability as the company grows.
Assist with ERP and other system implementations to enhance operational efficiency.
Special Projects:
Lead or participate in ad hoc projects to support the evolving needs of the business.

SaaS Experience: Experience in a SaaS company is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Flexibility: Ability to work across different time zones with team members in various locations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary: $90,000 - $110,000
