Field Service Engineer - Houston, TX

We're placing a Field Service Engineer with a global leader in materials testing technology, deploying nationwide to install, calibrate, and support advanced testing systems across a wide range of industries. Autonomous work, high-impact results, and a team that values expertise.What You'll Do:
Install, service, and repair testing systems including drop-weight towers, torsion systems, temperature chambers, and medical testing equipment
Calibrate equipment to applicable standards and prepare ISO/IEC 17025-compliant calibration reports
Troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical devices using schematic and mechanical drawings
Train customers on operation and software of machines
Coordinate with the service scheduler to execute assignments efficiently across a nationwide territory (90% or more travel)
RequirementsBachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experienceEligibility to meet A2LA and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirementsPrior experience with universal destructive testing machines and/or technical metrology/calibration highly desiredMust be authorized to work in the United States
