Field Assistant Audit Supervisor

The Lead Auditor position supports the Operations Department in the auditing of stores on a monthly basis. The Lead Auditor reports to the Audit Supervisor and Audit Manager. The Lead Auditor will be responsible to count merchandise at the store level in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner. They will then communicate the results to the appropriate departments. The Lead Auditor is responsible for all aspects of the audit. This includes the accurate entry of figures on the audit form and into the accounting system at store level and the accurateness of the Audit Assistant’s count.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Communicates with Audit Supervisor and Audit ManagerCommunicates with Store Analyst on day of auditCount all merchandise using audit equipmentUse computer to post and book audit figuresResearches finding of audits if directed to do soScheduling auditsManaging up to three person crewsREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent.Two years experience in Retail Management or Auditing with outstanding communication skillsAbility to take ownership over work and relationships with storesPossess strong problem solving and trouble shooting skillsTeam player with a professional demeanorValid drivers license and good driving recordOccasional overnight travel may be requiredPHYSICAL DEMAND:Ability to stand, bend over, work close to the ground, and climb ladders for long periods of timeAbility to use a computerAbility to hear and speak for store and office support via telephoneAbility to periodically lift for moving of merchandise in order to count accurately (> 40 lbs)Ability to work in extreme cold or hot temperatures (coolers, sheds, drive thru, freezer)Ability to use a handheld scannerJob duties may change with or without noticeCircle K is an Equal Opportunity Employer.The Company complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (the ADA) and all state and local disability laws.
