The Field Application Scientist will work with Life Sciences Field applications team to learn existing processes and help drive project goals to completion. We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: Job Description Responsibilities : Review customer supplied product data for trends Leverage SFDC product evaluations, cases and FAS inputs analyze data for actionable insights Propose ideas for next steps and present at team meetings Collaborate on creating templates and other assets to support FAS team initiatives. Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the role of marketing and customer feedback All interns will participate in a weekly 1:1 project update with the Supervisor. All Interns will have a chance to participate in customer calls when appropriate. All interns will attend weekly FAS team meetings and other internal meetings as assigned All interns will prepare and present final report of accomplishments and learnings at conclusion of internship to select sales leadership Requirements: Must be at least a 2nd year bachelors degree student and a returning student after the summer in a program with focus on Biology/Biotechnology Strong proficiency in cell culture science, bioprocess, and general ‘technical marketing’ techniques. Aptitude for understanding, communicating, and interpreting scientific concepts, applications and methods. Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and adjust quickly. Customer focused/Strong networking skills Well organized Ability to work with others and independently as required. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Salary and Benefits: For California, the base salary range for this position is $23.00 -$25.00 per hour.
