We are currently accepting applications for masters level psychotherapists licensed in New York state.Under the general direction of a Senior Therapist or Supervisor, the Staff Therapist is responsible for providing standardized individual, relationship, and group psychotherapy to clients in order to promote optimum mental health. The Staff Therapist will work to address a variety of emotional and social needs of clients. All full time positions will begin as part time with the intention of growing to a full time case load.This job may be perfect for you if you are a master's level therapist:seeking experience and to advance their clinical skills in a private settinginterested in working privately, but doesn't want to independently manage the administrative side of being in private practicewho want to work in a group practice environment with a community of other practitionerswho wants to accrue clinical hours in a private settinglooking for community in the private practice sector, with opportunities for supervision and group consultation with other qualified therapists.Benefits of Joining ACNY:Support in co-building a caseload that reflects your professional goalsAdditional educational support in learning and understanding marketing your practiceMinimal administrative workReception and Billing TeamFlexible scheduling, including ability to work 100% remoteCollegial, team-oriented and supportive work environmentSupervision provided towards licensureOpportunities for growth and to make a difference in a growing practiceCompensation40% of fees collected per sessionSick Pay (1 hour/session for every 30 hours/sessions worked)Malpractice CoverageRequirements:Provisionally licensed and possess an LMSW licensed in New YorkEducation, training and demonstrated success providing therapy to your nicheExcellent written and spoken communication skillsBe available to see clients on at least 1 weekend day, early mornings and eveningAt least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapyAt least 1 year of experience in providing individual, couples, and/or family therapyOrganized and able to submit progress notes and respond to emails in a timely manner, and in accordance to ACNY policiesDuties:Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload of 15-30 weekly completed sessions, including individuals and couples, 1-2 evenings/week and weekend day required, part time availableMaintains case notes, logs and all required documentation within 24 hours of sessions heldParticipates in weekly clinical supervisionCase management services including care coordination, including collaborating with referral sources and connecting clients to care10-15 minute phone consultations when requestedParticipate in marketing yourself to co-create a caseload that reflects your professional goalsCaseload:At ACNY, we understand that building a caseload doesn't happen overnight. It’s a process influenced by many factors, including client needs, clinician-specific demand, and individual performance focusing on rapport building and retention. We are always working to build our referral flows, and also ask clinician's to participate in co-building their caseloads, which will also help increase the speed of building a caseload.
