This position is essential in ensuring that our customers receive their packages promptly and safely. As a FedEx Overnight Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages to both residential and commercial addresses.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a FedEx delivery vehicle to transport packages to various locations.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations.
Use handheld devices for scanning and tracking packages.
Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Minimum age of 21 years old.
Reliable vehicle (if applicable).
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required.
