About the position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a self-motivated and versatile Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer (FRLEO) to ensure a safe environment through the assessment and mitigation of physical security risks. This role involves performing basic police duties, utilizing law enforcement best practices, and managing physical security technologies to protect the Bank's premises.

Responsibilities
Ā• Screen all personnel, vehicles, packages, and parcels entering the facility using x-ray technology and metal detection equipment.

Ā• Identify and report security breaches and suspicious activities.
,
Ā• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to maintain vigilance against suspicious situations or safety hazards.
,
Ā• Investigate suspicious persons or unusual occurrences on Bank premises.
,
Ā• Respond to medical emergencies and utilize first aid, CPR, and AED as needed.
,
Ā• Maintain a professional demeanor in all circumstances.
,
Ā• Understand and apply Federal Reserve Act, Section 11q, and relevant laws and policies.
,
Ā• Control access and entry of persons to the Bank's premises.

Requirements
Ā• High school diploma or GED; preferably 30 college hours from an accredited institution.
,
Ā• Valid driver's license and must not be prohibited from driving in any U.S. state.
,
Ā• Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and various physical fitness tests.
,
Ā• Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
,
Ā• Ability to operate x-ray, chemical/bio, metal detection, CCTV, and other law enforcement equipment.
,
Ā• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems.

Nice-to-haves
Ā• Military experience or traditional law enforcement experience.

Ā• First Aid Certification.
,
Ā• CPR Certification.
