Finally, our Client is part of one the largest Insurance Groups in the world.The FinOps Analyst is responsible for monitoring, optimizing and reporting on cloud usage and cost. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure cost-effective and efficient use resources. The FinOps Analyst will identify and drive cost optimization opportunities, provide cost estimation, and develops and publishes reports and KPIs.Role Responsibilities:• Create dashboards and analytics and provide regular cost reports and insights to stakeholders with a cloud services focus. • Coordinate ad hoc meetings with peers to review questionable or complicated items and manage through to resolution.• Conduct regular audits to validate resource utilization and identify any anomalies or inefficiencies. Assist in audits related to cloud expenditures.• Continuously track cloud expenditures and usage patterns to ensure alignment with budgets and business objectives. Ensure alignment of cloud cost activities with organizational goals. Establish and enforce governance policies.• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive cost reduction projects. Propose and implement discount programs - such as reserved instances, savings plans, and volume discounts - tailored to the organization's specific usage patterns and business needs.RequirementsAt least 4 years in a similar position with cloud cost analysis / FinOps Experience (Required)Full English FluencyBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.FinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent certification. (Desirable) Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. (Must)Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and best practices in modern data architectures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, Power BI Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Translate difficult Ideas Proficient in data analytics and visualization tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
