Responsibilities
• Evaluate healthcare startups, focusing on their medical validity, clinical impact, and scalability.
• Provide family medicine physician expertise in due diligence processes, including reviewing business models and medical claims.
• Advise portfolio companies on clinical best practices, regulatory compliance, and patient engagement strategies.
• Stay updated on healthcare trends, Medicare/insurance policies, and emerging technologies relevant to family medicine and primary care.
• Assist in networking with other healthcare professionals and thought leaders to enhance investment opportunities.
Qualifications
• Board-certified Family Medicine Physician with at least 5 years of clinical experience.
• Experience in digital health, telemedicine, or healthcare startups is a plus.
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, clinical workflows, and patient care models.
