About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and spousal support

· Draft, prepare, and file family law documents (petitions, motions, discovery, declarations, etc.)

· Perform legal research and compile relevant case information

· Prepare and organize exhibits and witness materials for trial.

· Maintain client files and case calendars, including deadlines and court dates

· Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

· Support trial preparation, including exhibits and case summaries

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of direct experience as a paralegal in family law

· Strong knowledge of California family law court procedures and ability to assist with litigation process

· Demonstrated experience drafting and responding to discovery requests

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills in managing multiple tasks and deadlines

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proofreading abilities and keen attention to detail

· Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and adaptable

Technical Requirements

Proficiency with the following tools is required:

· Microsoft Office

· MyCase

· Xspouse

· Essential Forms

· QuickBooks

· Adobe (Acrobat and document management)

· Dropbox

Compensation & Benefits

· $100,000 - $130,000/ year (commensurate with experience)
