Family Law Attorney, 100% Remote - Boston Area

Attorney Needed - Must Live In Massachusetts - 100% Virtual! What You’ll Actually Do You’ll make court appearances, attend conferences, draft motions, and argue about property division and parenting schedules with grace. You’ll negotiate settlements and help people part ways with dignity. You’ll be Of Counsel, meaning you’re one of us, but also free. You’ll have a team. Support staff. Fellow lawyers. Actual systems. You’ll do real lawyering without all the nonsense. Responsibilities: • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Keep client files properly organized and up to date • Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action • Work closely with your paralegal to ensure seamless communication to all stakeholders. Qualifications: • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations • Bachelor’s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required • Must have at least 8 years of experience as a Family Law attorney or relevant work. • Since we are remote, except for court hearings, you must be sufficiently self-motivated to perform your job remotely. • Able to manage a caseload of 30-40 and keep moving the cases forward to completion.
