Candidates must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University Park campus and must have completed or be enrolled in ENGL 250: Peer Tutoring in Writing or APLING 250: Peer Tutoring for Multilingual Writers. Tutors are expected to work a minimum of 3 hours weekly and to complete classroom workshops and informational visits as part of their position.Applicants who have not yet taken English 250 or APLING 250 should submit inquiry atBACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICSPursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
