All Jobs > Senior Accountant Fairway All Brands Page Apply Senior Accountant Remote Apply Description Location: Remote Department: Accounting Reports To: Accounting Manager Salary: 80,000 - 90,000 + 10% Bonus Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with hands-on experience in lease accounting, fixed assets, and multi-state sales tax compliance to manage accounting operations across our regions. Your expertise will streamline processes, ensure accuracy, and strengthen controls across all accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Manage lease accounting, including ROU assets and lease liability calculations (ASC 842). Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation schedules. Ensure proper accounting for new lease agreements and asset acquisitions. Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations. Monitor and ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax regulations. Work with operations to maintain accurate sales tax reporting and filings. Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulations. Support external audits and implement internal controls to safeguard assets. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows. Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects to enhance efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 5–7+ years of corporate accounting experience with proven ability to work independently and take ownership of key accounting processes.
