About Curry Health Center and the University of Montana Curry Health Center is the primary healthcare provider for students at the University of Montana, a flagship R1 research institution located in Missoula, Montana. Key Responsibilities: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, trash removal, and sanitizing patient and staff areas Performing general maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and filters Supplying paper products and soap Providing direct customer service to members of the campus and community Training and overseeing other custodial workers Managing inventory control and requesting or stocking supplies Reporting or requesting repairs to facilities and equipment Operating a variety of equipment, such as cleaning machinery, office equipment, and vehicles Building and maintaining a work atmosphere of trust and respect among team members Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) to three (3) years of directly related cleaning experience preferred Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a safe work environment Effective communication and customer service skills Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects, as well as work in a variety of positions and environments Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, as well as safety protocols Experience working in a healthcare or educational setting Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Physical stamina and ability to work in a variety of environments Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you will have opportunities for professional growth and development, including: Training and certification programs Career advancement opportunities Collaborative and dynamic work environment Competitive salary and benefits package, including insurance, retirement plan, and partial tuition waiver Work Environment and Company Culture: We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
