Make a difference and grow with us.Oversee the operations of all telecom facilities nation-wide where applicable - critical rooms with power, cooling, and building systems including remote monitoring and security systems devices to ensure they run efficiently, safely and cost-effectively. Also responsible for achieving excellence in critical environment maintenance management programs all across, ensuring highest standards delivered and best practices implemented. Duties and responsibilities Ensure that engineering staff is qualified and trained to perform the duties they are expected to carry outDevelop and sustain a well motivated, nation-wide teamLead by example and groom the team in building & maintaining high-quality telecom facilitiesProvide technical advice and guidance for service delivery teamCoordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of programs and proceduresReview the maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations, established processes, tools and documentationProject Estimates and costing (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Works)Plan and manage budgets for Engineering & Operational contracts (CapEx / OpEx)Manage contract vendors for technical services and ensuring quality standards are metTo established Policies and Standard Operating Procedures for the management of the the company’s Critical Environment (CEM)Ensure proper engineering documentation and adherence to the established change management controls for all sitesConduct audits to ensure that all safety procedures, including disaster recovery and business continuity plan and escalation procedures are in place and maintainedEnsure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standardsPlan and take responsibility for smooth operations of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing installations and Civil works pertaining to the facilityManage M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables within the stipulated timeDevelop and implement innovation programs and processes that reduce utility costs, increase productivity and savings Continuous optimization of processes, tools and documentationAchieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets Qualifications Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (licensed Engineer is preferred.)4-6 years experience in an equivalent capacityProperty and Building facilities operation and maintenanceFamiliarity with the National Building Code and compliance requirements Project ManagementEngineering Vendor ManagementProficiency in Technical drawings and plans reading and assessmentsProficient in productivity tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets, or equivalent)Familiarity with Building Permits and compliance to government mandatory requirementStatutory Compliance and Facility AuditService, Critical Systems / Environment, Construction and Project Vendor operations.
