Facebook Ads Copywriter
Overview Texas Sports Academy is looking for a Facebook Ads Copywriter who understands how to write direct-response copy that converts — not just sounds good. You will be responsible for crafting compelling ad copy that drives parent inquiries, applications, and booked calls. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales psychology, and performance testing. If you obsess over hooks, headlines, angles, and A/B testing — and you know how to write for Meta platforms — this role is for you. Duties • Write high-performing Facebook and Instagram ad copy (primary text, headlines, descriptions) • Develop strong hooks, angles, and messaging frameworks tailored to parents and families • Adapt copy for different stages of the funnel (cold, warm, retargeting) • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging with real objections and conversions • Write multiple variants for testing and iteration • Incorporate feedback from performance data (CTR, CPL, CVR) • Maintain consistent brand voice while optimizing for performance Skills • Proven experience writing Facebook / Meta ads that drive conversions • Strong understanding of direct-response copywriting principles • Ability to write concise, persuasive copy under character limits • Familiarity with A/B testing and performance optimization • Ability to take direction, iterate quickly, and hit deadlines Preferred Experience • Experience writing ads for education, parenting, youth programs, or high-ticket services • Understanding of sales funnels, lead generation, and booked-call objectives • Experience working with creative strategists or media buyers • Portfolio or examples of ads with performance context (preferred) Skills & Attributes • Performance-focused mindset (data > opinions) • Strong understanding of buyer psychology • Fast, iterative working style • Clear, professional communicator • Comfortable receiving feedback and revising copy quickly Join us as a Facebook Ads Copywriter and become a vital part of our innovative marketing team!
