The Experienced Analyst role involves supporting and executing M&A and corporate finance engagements, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial models while working collaboratively with investment banking professionals across various industrial sectors.ResponsibilitiesAdvise companies regarding strategic and corporate finance alternatives and drive the execution of M&A transactionsPrepare pitch books, descriptive information memoranda and related materials for M&A and capital raising mandatesPerform extensive financial analysis, valuation analysis and pro forma financial modelingIdentify key issues and potential areas of valuation and transaction risk within engagementsPerform In-depth market-sector and company-specific researchSupport business development initiativesSkillsA bachelor's degreeAt least 1 year of prior experience in investment banking or similar M&A execution experienceStrong working knowledge of Excel to develop financial models, knowledge of pivot tables and using excel for in-depth modelingStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to exercise sound independent judgmentEfficient use of research databases, and technical ability to analyze dataStrong communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organizationYou must either reside in or be at a commutable distance to your office location for this positionThe ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
