External Communications Manager - North America

About the position

Join Arrive as a Regional PR/External Communications Manager, you'll be a key architect in elevating Arrive's reputation on a global scale and North American brand, ParkMobile. You’ll help strengthen and protect our brand through day-to-day PR activities, including supporting the execution of campaigns, crafting content and managing key deliverables across markets. Your work will support market launches, feature roll-outs, media pitching and crisis communications, ensuring consistency across regional activities.
Reporting to the Head of External Communications for North America, you'll be part of a small yet powerful global team of Communications Managers and a Sustainability Manager, ensuring consistent, efficient and clear communication across the organization. You’ll work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Marketing, Public Affairs team, and leaders across all of Arrive’s Business Units - Parking, Transport, B2B, Automotive & Data, and Payments. You will collaborate with and coordinate our regional PR agency, to deliver impactful campaigns that advance Arrive’s and ParkMobile’s communications and business priorities in North America.
This is a hybrid role based near our office in Atlanta, GA, with close collaboration with Stockholm HQ in Sweden, and colleagues worldwide.

Responsibilities
• Execute external communications and managing press contacts across North American markets.
• Create content for various channels, including press releases, media briefings, pitches, presentations tailored to North American audiences.
• Monitor and analyze North American media coverage, track results.
• Collaborate and work closely with the North American PR agency to keep campaigns on track and manage routine workflow tasks.
• Support spokespersons with external communications such as messaging, Q&A’s, presentations etc.
• Build on your current network of traditional and online media contacts to tell the Arrive and ParkMobile story in North America.
• Contribute to administrative tasks that ensure smooth execution of PR campaigns in the region.
• Stay up to date with North American media trends, industry developments, and competitive activity to support proactive PR planning.

Requirements
• 5-10 years of professional experience in PR, corporate communications, or related fields
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong content production skills, able to write engagingly for different audiences and channels
• Proven track record in supporting and implementing successful PR initiatives with key stakeholders
• Strong project management skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, digital environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop media contacts and relationships, with a strong understanding of media outreach strategies across traditional and online channels and the initiative to apply experience effectively in campaigns
• Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills, able to identify opportunities and navigate complex situations
• Relevant university degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, or related field
