As a Lead Teacher, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our General Manager and Department of Education to drive programming, teacher development, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities Teach a minimum of 5-8 yoga classes per week, showcasing a deep understanding of YogaSix core formats and teaching styles. Recruit, audition, hire, coach, and develop teachers to ensure a high-quality teaching roster that aligns with YogaSix standards. Review sequences submitted by teachers, provide constructive feedback, and support their ongoing development. Lead in-house format trainings, sharing your expertise and passion for yoga with our community. Collaborate with the General Manager and Department of Education to drive programming, teacher support, and community engagement. Uphold YogaSix Core Values, leading by example and inspiring others to do the same. Be an ambassador for YogaSix, representing our brand and values at community events and in-studio experiences. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 200hr Yoga Alliance Certification (500hr preferred). A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience (E-RYT status preferred). Proven experience in yoga management, teaching, and leadership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using online databases and software (ClubReady or Mind Body Online preferred). Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus: Yoga management experience. Experience coaching and developing staff, with a proven track record of effective conflict resolution. Knowledge of various yoga styles and formats. A strong desire to learn, grow, and be coached. Our average estimated time commitment is approximately 5-15 hours per week, plus time teaching, depending on the needs and stage of the studio.
