Remote Full-time
Introduction to Workwarp and Amazon Logistics Imagine being part of a team that delivers millions of smiles to customers every day. At Workwarp, in partnership with Amazon, we are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our warehouse team in North-East London as a Warehouse Operative. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Our warehouse, located in the heart of North-East London (DIG1), is a state-of-the-art facility designed to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable working experience for all our team members. Role Overview As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a critical role in the success of our operations, working closely with our team to ensure the smooth receipt, scanning, sorting, stowing, and dispatching of Amazon parcels. This is an active job that requires a high level of energy, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Whether you are looking for a full-time, part-time, day, night, or weekend position, we have a variety of shift patterns available to suit your lifestyle and preferences. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and scanning parcels upon arrival at the warehouse. Sorting and stowing parcels in designated areas of the warehouse. Dispatching parcels to ensure timely delivery to Amazon customers. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines. Working collaboratively with the warehouse team to achieve operational goals and targets. Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, be reliable, and have a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is not necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to all our new starters. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to lift up to 15kg, and stand for long periods. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also essential, as you will be working closely with colleagues and management. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, having previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment can be beneficial. Knowledge of health and safety procedures, experience with manual handling, and basic IT skills are also desirable. If you have a forklift license or experience with warehouse management systems, this can be an advantage, but again, training will be provided to ensure you have all the necessary skills to excel in your role. Skills and Competencies: Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 15kg, and move around the warehouse with ease. Attention to Detail: Ensuring parcels are correctly scanned, sorted, and dispatched. Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues to achieve operational goals. Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime when required. Communication: Effective communication with team members and management.
