About the Role As a Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer within the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing virtual platforms that enable the testing and verification of solutions through high-fidelity simulations and emulations. This involves working closely with product teams, manual testing and requirements teams, and internal customers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and reliability. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions using real-life software. Ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, process and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integration, service, and support prior to delivery. Set and communicate quality standards and parameters to product teams, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams. Coordinate simulations and testing processes, identifying and analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommend solutions. Collaborate with internal customers to review client, customer, and user feedback, ensuring that products meet their needs and expectations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. At least 5 years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance. Experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment. Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members, operations, and management. Project management skills to successfully start and finish projects.
