Job Highlights Company: VocoVision - Full-time Position Start Date: Immediate openings available Compensation: a competitive hourly rate Position: Virtual School Social Worker Location: Remote Position Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract Start Date: January 2025 Caseload: PreK-12th Grade Pay Range: $43-48/hr (DOE) Responsibilities As a Virtual School Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing remote social work services to students in Michigan. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting remote assessments to evaluate students' social and emotional well-being Providing virtual counseling, behavioral support, and therapy to students with a variety of emotional needs Creating and implementing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Working with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop student support plans Participating in IEP meetings and assisting with student goal setting Maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) A current Michigan Social Worker license from LARA School Social Worker approval from the Michigan Department of Education or a temporary approval (310 form) At least two years of experience in a school-based setting (preferred) Experience in providing virtual services (a plus, but not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why VocoVision?
