Job Overview We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Virtual School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Assist in supervising staff and students, and develop in-service training programs for continuing staff development. Respond to requests for professional information/advice and refer complex matters to the appropriate staff. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide speech and language services to students. Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide progress monitoring and reporting to parents and educators. Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to ensure seamless delivery of services and promote a positive learning environment. Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality services. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in North Carolina. ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Master's degree in Speech and Communication or a related field. At least two years of experience working as a school-based SLP, preferably in a virtual or remote setting. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with students with diverse needs and backgrounds. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology and ability to integrate technology into therapy sessions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educators. Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team, with minimal supervision. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
